This was the first or second of weeks with lots of overtime hours. During next addiction to anarcho-punk and electro-goth Pink Floyd covers only increased. The Great Mantra of development (compile, package, deploy) with 'now I'm feeling zombified, zombified....' in the background and occasional OutOfMemory JBoss-apocalypse...

days, weeks, clouds Snow spots all around the city since mid-november. Black-white-gray-black patterns. A bit more elegant than what autumn had to offer I'd say, although cold and getting colder. But anyway, all this reminded my lazy ass to postprocess one of the photos I took about two months ago. A few hours in a foreign city (imprinting my brain for future use with its shows, architecture, customs, traditions... etc, etc). Sunblinded, suspended, timeless, watching.

Sea of Memes

Each time I listen to Waters-era Pink Floyd this photo comes to my mind.

You know it's time for a change when you start to recognize voices of people you meet on the tram each morning.

Yet another funny book excerpt

In 'Core Java, Volume II', about java.net.URLConnection's getHeaderField(int n) instance method:

"The implementors of this class felt a need to express their individuality by introducing yet another iteration protocol."

Today's most inspirational Wiki find:

"The slippery property of quantum reality is again manifested."

Heinz Pagels, in The Cosmic Code.

I mean, really, nothing describes better what I feel every morning before I get to the cup of coffee.

Rather mystical debug message found at work in the legacy code :-)

if (realEndTime == null) {
mLogger.debug("real end time does not exist. skip it.");
continue;
}
